Dudley Brunson Passes Away In Texas
Longtime volunteer and official in Oklahoma

Dudley Brunson, a longtime volunteer for Moore Soccer Club and Frontier Country Soccer died September 16, 2008 in Texas. Working at Tinker Air Force Base, Dudley enjoyed soccer and his family followed his pursuit of the sport by playing in Oklahoma Soccer during their school years. One of the events Dudley was devoted to was the FCSA tournaments providing scholarships to soccer players. He was born November 3, 1955 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Charles and Carol (Glotfelter) Brunson. He retired from Tinker Air Force Base and enjoyed soccer, golf, fishing and the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. Dudley was a very Godly man who loved making jokes and having a good time with his family. He will be missed by all who loved him. Dudley is survived by his wife, Diana and family of Vernon, Texas four sons, Jeffery Brunson, Joseph Brunson, Micah Brunson all of OKC and Aaron Gragg of Houston, TX one daughter, Faith Brunson of OKC one brother, Kirk Brunson of Burnett, TX two sisters, Carla Clark of Horseshoe Bay, Texas and Surett Ashley of Kingsland, Texas six grandchildren and his previous wives, Patricia Brunson and Misti Nelson. He is preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild. Funeral services were held 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 22, 2008 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel.
